The Avanti WC681BG 166 Bottle Wine Cooler is constructed with the serious collector in mind. With a one-touch dual function electronic display, monitoring the temperature of your wines is made simple and worry-free. The slide-out wooden shelves make accessing each bottle easy, while the interior fan offers precision temperature control. A security lock protects your valuable bottles from children while the auto defrost function protects them from ice buildup.

What is dual function electronic display?

The dual display shows the desired temperature and the actual temperature inside the unit.  When you store mostly red wines, the temperature which you control by pushing the above two buttons need to be set at between 58F to 65F and the LED lamp under “RED” will be lit red.  When you store mostly white wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 48F to 57F and the LED lamp under “WHITE” will be lit green.  When you store mostly sparkling wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 40F to 47F and the LED lamp under “SPARKL” will be lit amber.  You can select temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degree by pushing the UP and DOWN button at the same time for 5 seconds. Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees indicator will appear in green color in the “SET” window. The temperature inside the unit will appear in red color in the “DISPLAY” window.

Note: Single Zone wine coolers are intended to store only one type of wine at a time, as they have only one temperature zone that can be set to cool either red, white, or sparkling wine.
